Stories in your own voice
Voice notes and videos on the phone, voice on the web. An automatic transcript helps them read along.
Messages for their future
Leave your children, family and friends your stories, advice and love, in messages they can open in the future, even when you are no longer here. Choose who each message is for and when it opens.
Record voice messages on the web today. Android and iPhone apps, with video, are coming soon.

Step 1 of 5 · Add your people
Welcome to Pre-sent. First, add the people you’re recording for: a child, a parent, a friend.
Half a minute, with sound. Captions in your language.
A child, a parent, a grandchild, a friend. Add their birthday if you like.
Tap Record and just talk. A minute is enough. A question can help you start.
Now, on a birthday years from today, when they’re ready, or when you decide.
It stays sealed until then, and only they can open it. When it opens, they have a month to save it to their phone. After that it leaves Pre-sent.

A blessing for an 18th birthday, a letter for a wedding, words for a hard day. Set it once, and it opens on the day you chose.
Invite grandparents, uncles and friends to add their voices from a simple link, with no app needed. They open together.
Everyone’s messages play one after another, each with their name, as one family moment.
Gather recordings into chapters, like “Where it began” or “Words to carry”.
The whole app in three languages, with right-to-left Arabic. Record in any language you speak.
Pre-sent is free while we’re in early access.
No. People you record for can listen on the web, and relatives can add their voices to a capsule from a link in their phone’s browser.
Yes. Record in any language. The app itself is in English, Hindi and Arabic.
Until a message opens you can change who it’s for, when it opens, or delete it.
Messages set for a date or a birthday open on that day, without you needing to do anything. Messages for “when they’re ready” open when they choose. A “someday” message is different: only you can release it, so if you can’t, it stays sealed. Choosing someone to release messages for you isn’t available yet.
Now: as soon as it’s saved. On a date or a birthday: at the time you chose, in the time zone you chose, usually within a few minutes. When they’re ready: they choose when to open it. Someday: when you release it.
It appears for them in Pre-sent as soon as it opens. Phone notifications are still being set up, so for now it’s worth telling them where to look.
Android and iPhone apps are coming soon, with video recording. Until then, everything works on the web, with voice recording.
A few minutes today. Something of you to return to, for years.
